Dear colleagues and friends,
Department of Slavonic Studies, Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University
would like to invite you to the second international conference of Ph.D. students called
The Slavonic Literary World: Contexts and Confrontations II
with a subtitle Literary Genres in Slavonic Literatures that will be held on 5th and 6th September 2016 at Masaryk University.
The genre aspect of the theme of the conference based on the traditional genre research at the Department of Slavonic Studies – Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University would like to provide a space for the presentation of works dealing with genres of Slavonic literatures in different periods and with a variety of overlaps. It enables the participants to present their research areas in the framework of the interdisciplinary discourses.
Our intention is not only to focus on closely specified problems, but create an effective platform for solving more complex literary problems. As we expect and hope, it will be viewed on these problems from a multidisciplinary perspective, in the context of the Europe-wide (Slavonic-wide) literary criticism, its schools, trends, and currents.
Deadline for sending an application form is 20th May 2016.
We would like to ask those interested in participation in the conference to send
the completed application form including an abstract in the language of the paper
and in English (for a paper, in the extent of each version up to 1 000 characters) to the email address [email protected] until 20th May 2016. Both more detailed information and the application form for download are placed on the website
